"Soldier On"---sounds like it could be Clapton backed by the Beatles. I like the feel of it -- friendly and sad -- not confrontational.

My favorite song on Neil Young’s Living With War site is “Bring ’Em On” by JOHN HUGHES.

iTunes Reviews:
you will not believe this guy is unsigned. tom petty like with great lyrics.Tracks 3 to 4 are hits! If you like discovering new artists before the rest of the population..listen to this!

"Time" is a pretty cool album with some great rock tracks like Panic Mechanic, Ginned Up and Time for the Night. I especially like the country songs Set Free, Company Town and Runaway! Watch out for Company Town, Farewell My Concubine and For me - definitely hit material.
John Hughes has a very in joy able cd called "Time". The first time my wife heard it she fell in love with his Tom Petty like voice. That just is what catches your ear at first it's his beautiful music that keeps you coming back. I was impressed...
BRAVO!!!! John Hughes is a complete joy and "Time" has become a major sound track in my life....I play it for all my friends. I have featured John on my podcast, SHOP ROCK and I DJ a couple of Martini Listening Rooms and "TIME" has become a stapple!...
